SOS281 - Gift Card + treat holder

This week's challenge at Shopping Our Stash is called Pretty Packaging.
I found this super cute gist card/treat holder by Intatwyne design and had to try it too. The box is perfect for 3 Ferrero Rocher chocolates - you could fill it with other candy, if you added acetate in the window.
You can find the video tutorial here.
All the supplies used are from Stampin Up, some retired, some not.

SS440 - Enchanted Christmas

It's Saturday and that means a new sketch at Sketch Saturday. Here is the sketch

and my take:
We are sponsored by The Paper Shelter this week, so we got to play with their lovely digis.  This one is called Enchanted Christmas and you can find it here. I printed the digi with background three times, cut out pieces and created a layered look. Then I decided that an enchanted Christmas needs some sparkle so I added teal and white glitter paper to the background and also some touches with Wink Of Stella.

Challenge:
Fab 'n' Funky - Things with Wings
Crafting By Design - Get Ready For Christmas
Moving Along With Times - Anything Christmas Goes

SOS279 - Hot Cocoa For You

This week's challenge at Shopping Our Stash is called Warm & Fuzzy and we want to see anything that makes you feel nicely warm and cozy.
I could not resist using this House Mouse decoupage with Hot Cocoa - I had it cut out and assembled for some time and just waiting for the right occasion.

I kept it simple to make the image stand out. The purple panel is watercolored - you know those times when you start playing with paints and make 10 different backgrounds instead of one :) Now it was a perfect fit.

sos278 - Quick Washi Cards

This week's challenge at Shopping Our Stash is called Front and Center and we want everyone to use something that's already on their desk.
I had some washi tape on my desk so I pulled out some more and made couple of quick cards - one in copper, one in gold and one just black and white. Sentiments, punch and dies are from Stampin Up.

The Crazy Challenge - thank you
Just Us Girls - Metallics

SOS276 - Home For the Holidays

This week's challenge at Shopping Our Stash is called Home, Sweet Home and we want to see houses or any other buildings on your projects.
Since I had my Holiday Home stamp set on the desk - I used it for this challenge too:
I did a lot of masking here, also some sponging and coloring. This card is perfect for mailing  - since it's totally flat, but it still has enough interest for a holiday card

SOS274 - Spooky Halloween House

This week's challenge at Shopping Our Stash is called Hey, Ghoulfriend and we want to see anything Halloween related.
I don't have almost any Halloween themed stamps - so I played with my regular stuff.
I was inspired by Michelle Zindorf and used a stamp from Holiday Home set.  Sponged the background with Daffodil Delight and Tangerine tango, then I stamped the house (which is an outline stamp) and colored it in with black sharpie. Stamped the trees and bats and added some black ground/mist. The orange die cuts are from K&Co and the patterned paper is from a Christmas pack.

Challenges:
The Paper Girls - Halloween
Fantasy Stampers - Black Magic
Kitty Bee - Orange and Black
4 Crafty Chicks - Orange and Black

SOS273 Leafy Thanks Card

This week at Shopping Our Stash  we have a color challenge - here are the colors we are using:
and here is my card:
I used an older Stampin Up stamp set called French Foliage. Stamped the leaves on watercolor paper with Versamark, embossed them with white embossing powder and then played with inks in the background. I used some SU and some Tim Holtz inks. Then I just added more colored stamping and adhered the sentiment.

QKR Stampede - Autumn Leaves

Oh-La-La Creations - shades of Autumn
Dragonfly Journey - fall colors
